Underneath the anodized aluminum center plate are (5) ultra-heavy-duty neodymium magnets. They're perfect for keeping track of hardware, tools, or anything ferromagnetic you’re working with on your tailgate.
BUILT TO LAST
The Jeep Gladiator BaseGate is precision-milled from a single piece of high-grade HDPE. It features custom-extruded 6005 Aluminum L-Track, a 6061 Aluminum Center Plate, and all stainless steel hardware.
THE OUTPOST
Given the Gladiator's unique configuration of two access panels on the tailgate, we developed and engineered our OutPost panel. Made from the same rugged, textured HDPE, the OutPost adds two (2) additional 6" sections of recessed L-Track for even more mounting options on your tailgate.
The OutPost is perfect when paired with our Umbrella Stand as it moves mounting plate off the BaseGate for additonal real estate. The OutPost also works well in conjunction with our Milwaukee PACKOUT Mounting Plate, U2 Univeral Plates, and Pivot Plate as it created additional mounting and securing locations on your tailgate.
OutPost is only sold with the BaseGate and cannot be purchased separately.

MEET SPECGATE
SpecGate is a truck-specific platform that replaces your Tacoma's factory tailgate access panel. Made from marine-grade high-density polyethylene for ultimate durability, SpecGate features recessed aluminum L-Track channels to mount and pivot tools and gear securely to the tailgate when needed.
Whether you're headed to the lumber yard or spending an afternoon with the family at the lake, our modular task plates and purpose-built accessories make it easy to configure your SpecGate in seconds. When back home, quickly remove and store your accessories until they're needed again.
SpecGate adds no additional height or interferes with day-to-day tailgate usage. It also has a complete collection of threaded and quick-release L-Track hardware to mount toolboxes, vises, and recovery gear - or whatever else you can think of. SpecGate is designed, engineered, and manufactured in the United States.
INSTALLATION
Installing SpecGate on the Tacoma is straightforward and should take roughly 15 to 20 minutes. All the necessary tools (including removing your factory panel) are included.
